Our Mission & Facilities

The foundation at Rosebud is built upon the ideas taught by Classical Dressage. While classical dressage is our major inspiration and guidance we believe that being able to ride a variety of disciplines helps to create a truly enlightened and successful rider. Our mission is to provide a well rounded education to any person who wishes to expand their knowledge of horses; this could mean learning how to groom or learning how to perfect your half-pass. No matter what your experience level is we want to help bring out your personal best!

The wonderful facilities our property has to offer play a major part in fulfilling our mission. The 16,000 sq. ft. main stable area was built in 1970 as a residence for Charles & Josephine Aronson. In 2000, the "Big House" was converted into stables. The steel reinforced concrete and block construction provides a quiet climate controlled facility that is unmatched for equine and rider comfort. The third floor accomodates our craft/game studio and guest dorms which feature attached private baths and vaulted ceilings.

The stables feature 12x10 foot rubber matted, tongue & groove hardwood plank stalls with individual fans. There are 2 tack rooms and 3 restrooms for our client's comfort and the large lounge & kitchen on the main level provides a place to visit as well as entertain our guests.

The horseback riding conditions are always better inside the bright, fresh, and spacious 72x150 foot Coverall Riding Arena. You can experience all the advantages of riding outdoors within the safety, comfort, and convenience of the indoors 365 days a year.

Continue down the drive and you will pass the Lodge where Barney & Charlene Aronson reside, then Wisteria Cottage (a lovely space for weekend riding retreats!). Both are surrounded by scenic ponds and 112 acres of wooded trails and pasture.
