A Typical Day At Camp
7:00 a.m. - Campers out of bed
7:30 - Hay and Water horses. Bring in Camp Horses
8:00 – Breakfast
9:00 - Riding session 1/ Horsemanship 2/ Stable Management 3.
10:00 - Riding Session 2/ Horsemanship 3/ Stable Management 1.
11:00 - Riding Session 3/ Horsemanship 1/ Stable Management 2
Noon - Lunch
1 - Lesson 1 begins. Group 2 & 3 may be doing stable chores, helping to work with young horses, helping catch horses for the blacksmith, feeding etc. depending on the age/experience of the child.
2:00 – Groups switch
3:00 - Daily Horsemanship Lesson or Craft Activity
4:00 – Put horses away. Clean tack and tidy up.
5:00 – Team Building Exercises
6:00 - Dinner
7:00 - Any one of the following: Campfire, Minute to Win It, Movie Night, Jeopardy .
9:30 – 10:00 - Get ready for bed. Brush teeth. Can read or write in journal or talk quietly in their rooms
10:00 - LIGHTS-OUT.
